Persiapan Kajian Kelayakan Pembangunan CNG Filling Station

Melimpahnya cadangan terbukti gas alam di Indonesia dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Indonesia dalam rangka peralihan ke sumber energi bersih. Gas alam terbukti menghasilkan gas karbon dioksida 20% lebih sedikit dibandingkan bahan bakar yang berasal dari minyak bumi. Gas alam setelah diolah dapat didistribusikan dalam berbagai bentuk, yaitu LNG, CNG, LPG, dan CBM tergantung dari fasilitas distribusi yang tersedia. Dari beberapa jenis gas alam tersebut, CNG mendapat perhatian lebih karena dalam pemanfaatannya tidak memerlukan perlengkapan ataupun peralatan yang mahal, sehingga nilai keekonomisannya tinggi. Dalam rangka pemanfaatan CNG dan percepatan peralihan ke sumber energi bersih, maka dibutuhkan pembangunan CNG filling station. Sebelum melakukan pembangunan, perlu dilakukan kajian kelayakan pembangunan CNG filling station tersebut, terutama dari sisi keekonomiannya. Faktor yang menjadi penentu dari keekonomian pembangunan CNG filling station terdiri dari lokasi gas alam yang berfungsi sebagai suplai gas serta kapasitas yang tersedia, harga gas serta peralatan pendukung operasional, juga biaya operasional. Setelah metode perhitungan biaya pembangunan jaringan pipa gas ke lokasi filling station serta referensi harga peralatan pendukung seperti kompresor, storage tank, serta software sistem operasional diketahui, maka menggunakan data tersebut simulasi perhitungan dapat dilakukan.. kesimpulan bahwa semakin dekat jarak sumber gas dengan lokasi filling station serta makin besar kapasitas gas yang dapat di suplai akan makin mempercepat tercapainya BEP dan nilai IRR yang positif sehingga dapat mengundang banyak investor untuk melakukan pembangunan CNG filling station.
