Peran Penting perencanaan Komplesi Formasi dalam Keberhasilan Komplesi Sumur
Abstract
Setelah suatu sumur dikatakan ekonomis maka sumur tersebut akan dikembangkan menjadi sumur produksi, tahap akhir sebelum sumur tersebut menjadi sumur produksi adalah tahap penyelesaian sumur atau well completion.
Secara garis besar well completion dapat dibagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu formation completion, tubing completion dan wellhead completion, adapun kriteria well completion yang baik ditinjau dari masalah yang dihadapi setiap bagian well completion seperti pada formation completion yang digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah masalah yang ditimbulkan oleh sifat sifat dari formasi produktifnya.
Faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan formation completion adalah produktivitas formasi, kestabilan formasi serta kekompakkan batuan. Pada perencanaan formation completion untuk open hole perlu memperhitungkan laju penembusannya seperti fully atau partially.
