EVALUASI INJEKSI PENAMBAHAN BAHAN KIMIA UNTUK PENCEGAHAN PEMBENTUKAN GAS HIDRAT
Abstract
Pada sistem distribusi gas alam di pipa seringkali digunakan suatu bahan kimia yang diinjeksikan untuk mencegah pembentukan hidrat. Pembentukan hidrat ini sangat dihindari mengingat hidrat dapat menimbulkan plugging di pipa distribusi gas sehingga perbedaan tekanan gas distribusi menjadi tinggi. Untuk menghindari pembentukan hidrate ini biasanya diinjeksikan bahan kimia inhibitor di pipa, tentunya dalam penambahan bahan kimia inhibitor ini diperlukan perhitungan yang ekonomis mengingat bahan kimia yang digunakan sangatlah mahal. Persamaan baru yang dikembangkan ini memiliki perbedaan dari beberapa persamaan yang ada sebelumnya.
