Evaluasi Kinerja dan Analisa Sistem Pengendali Temperature serta Flowrate pada Kolom Fraksinasi C-1

Pengolahan Crude Oil pada Unit Kilang PPSDM Migas Cepu menggunakan metode distilasi atmosferik pada kolom fraksinasi C1. Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi Pertasol CA, Pertasol CB, Pertasol CC, Solar dan Residu. Pada kolom C1 terjadi pemisahan crude oil menjadi pertasol sebagai fraksi ringan dan solar sebagai fraksi berat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan perbandingan terhadap evaluasi pada kinerja kolom fraksinasi C1 di PPSDM Migas Cepu dengan atupun tanpa menggunakan steam injection yang fokus pada analisis neraca massa, neraca panas, serta sistem pengendalian suhu dan aliran reflux pada top kolom C-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolom C1 memiliki input 319.276,44 Kg/hari dan output 317.328,15 Kg/hari, dengan losses sebesar 1.948,28 Kg/hari. Sedangkan untuk efisiensi thermal kolom C1 meningkat dari 61,45% tanpa steam injection dan 71,19% dengan steam injection. Penggunaan steam injection memberikan dampak peningkatan terhadap efisiensi panas pada kolom fraksinasi C-1. Selain itu, sistem pengendalian yang digunakan pada Top Column Fractionation adalah DCS dengan jenis cascade loop. Namun, sistem pengendali masih dilakukan secara manual karena adanya kendala pada alat.
