Verifikasi metode uji sampel air sungai Bengawan Solo telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Lingkungan Lingkungan PPSDM Migas Cepu berdasarkan standar SNI 6989-84 2019 mengenai cara uji kadar logam terlarut dan logam total secara Spektrometri Serapan Atom (AAS) – nyala. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan analisis kuantitatif logam seng (Zn), mangan (Mn), dan besi (Fe) pada air sungai Bengawan Solo. Sampel didestruksi dengan destruksi basah kemudian dianalisis. Sinyal/ noise logam seng sebesar 64,27 mg/L dan; logam mangan sebesar 9,7013 mg/L; dan logam besi sebesar 48,2 mg/L. Nilai % recovery logam seng sebesar 115 %; logam mangan sebesar 69,74 %; logam besi sebesar 97%. Nilai % RSD logam seng sebesar 1,55; logam mangan sebesar 0,94; dan logam besi sebesar 2,74. Nilai CvHorwitz logam seng sebesar 94,55; logam mangan sebesar 88,55; dan logam besi sebesar 89,96. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat dinyatakan, bahwa metode ini tidak layak digunakan untuk analisis secara rutin karena tidak memenuhi persyaratan batas deteksi metode (MDL) dan akurasi.
