Analisis Kelayakan Air Terproduksi untuk Water Injection Berdasarkan Parameter pH, Oil Content, dan Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

Air terproduksi (produced water) merupakan produk samping dari kegiatan produksi minyak dan gas bumi yang mengandung berbagai senyawa organik maupun anorganik. Evaluasi kelayakan air terproduksi untuk diinjeksikan kembali ke reservoir menjadi aspek penting karena kualitas air yang tidak memenuhi standar dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan, kerusakan peralatan, serta gangguan pada formasi reservoir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas air terproduksi berdasarkan parameter pH, oil content, dan Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) dengan mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No. 19 Tahun 2010 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah Kegiatan Eksplorasi dan Produksi Migas dari Fasilitas Darat (onshore). Penelitian dilakukan di PT XYZ, Tuban, Jawa Timur, dengan pengambilan sampel pada outlet storage tank TK–8002 A sebelum fluida memasuki injection pump selama periode pemantauan 11 hari (18–28 Februari 2023). Analisis pH dilakukan menggunakan pH meter sesuai SNI 06–6989.11–2004, sedangkan analisis oil content dan TDS menggunakan metode gravimetri masing-masing berdasarkan SNI 06–6989.10–2011 dan SNI 06–6989.27–2005. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai pH berada pada rentang 7,40–7,82 dan seluruhnya masih memenuhi baku mutu yang dipersyaratkan (6–9). Namun demikian, konsentrasi oil content berada pada kisaran 39,04–84,91 mg/L, melampaui batas maksimum yang ditetapkan sebesar 25 mg/L. Parameter TDS juga menunjukkan nilai yang sangat tinggi, yaitu 17.410,0–18.212,9 mg/L, jauh melebihi baku mutu sebesar 4.000 mg/L. Secara keseluruhan, meskipun nilai pH memenuhi persyaratan dan tidak menunjukkan potensi korosivitas yang signifikan, tingginya oil content berpotensi menyebabkan penyumbatan pada sistem injeksi (plugging) dan menurunkan kemampuan injeksi (injectivity), sedangkan konsentrasi TDS yang tinggi meningkatkan risiko pembentukan kerak (scaling) dan kerusakan formasi (formation damage). Oleh karena itu, air terproduksi yang diuji dinyatakan belum memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk digunakan kembali sebagai fluida water injection.
