FLOW ASSURANCE PADA PRODUKSI MIGAS, MASALAH DAN PENANGGULANGANNYA
Abstract
Flow Assurance meliputi keseluruhan source, proses, fasilitas dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengaliran hidrokarbon dari reservoir sampai ke titik pemrosesan/penjualan. Dimana aspek sub-surface dan surface menjadi penentu desain flow assurance secara kesuluruhan. Produksi migas di offshore yang memiliki tingkat resiko, kesulitan dan biaya yang lebih tinggi menjadi contoh yang tepat ketika membicarakan Flow Assurance. Banyak masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi gagalnya flow assurance antara lain fenomena slugging, pembentukan hidrat, pengendapan wax dan aspal, scale dan korosi. Kemampuan untuk mitigasi, mengontrol dan menangani masalah-masalah tersebut merupakan kunci suksesnya flow assurance.
